Mrs. Helen Crawford, former Smith County Circuit Court Clerk, age 81 of the New Middleton Community, died Tuesday morning, November 15 at Lebanon Center for Rehab and Healing. She is survived by: husband, Gene Crawford; son, Doug Crawford and wife Fay of New Middleton; daughter, Angela Crawford of New Middleton; sisters, Carolyn Grisham and husband Fred of Rock City, Justine Lewis of Carthage; Joan House and husband Kenneth of Brush Creek; brother, Pete Gibbs of Mt. Juliet; 6 grandchildren, Cindy Thompson and husband Sam, Stacey Dias and husband Seth, Joey Crawford and wife Nicole, Jonathan Wells and wife Brooke, Jacqueline Crawford, Peyton Johnson and husband Brandon; 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Crawford is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, November 17 at 3:00 PM. Bro. Ray Gilder will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Lendon Grisham, Bobby Dale Mason, Nate Lewis, Marc Lewis, Donnie Estes, Richard Gregory.
Visitation will be on Thursday only from 11:00 AM until service time at 3:00 PM.
The family has requested instead of flowers to assist with funeral expenses.
