Mrs. Glenda Parkhurst Wilmore, age 80 of the Pleasant Shade Community died Monday evening, December 19 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. She is survived by: 2 daughters, Jazanne Gregory and husband Ray of Pleasant Shade, Julie Davenport and husband Bobby of Pleasant Shade; 4 grandchildren, Michael Gregory and wife Caitlin of Carthage, Marah Sledge and husband Jackson of Pleasant Shade, Jacob Davenport of Pleasant Shade, Katie Beth Wright and husband Addison of Lafayette; step-son, Jimmy Wilmore; 3 great-grandchildren, Cael Gregory, Raylan Sledge, Tillie Sledge.
Mrs. Wilmore is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her services will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, December 22 at 1:00 PM. Eld. Kenny Hensley and Eld. Michael Horton will officiate. Interment in the Pleasant Shade Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Billy Wilmore, Marty Wilmore, Scotty Wilmore, Stacey Wilmore, Tyler Robinson, Jeff Shoulders.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Pleasant Shade Cemetery Mowing Fund.
