Mrs. Gay Nell Dillehay Hale, age 93 of Tanglewood and formerly of Defeated Creek, died Thursday afternoon, November 4 at Knollwood Manor in Lafayette. She is survived by: children, Betty Brown and husband John of Tanglewood, Mickey Hale and wife Carol of Defeated Creek; 6 grandchildren, Gina White and husband Stacy of Rome, Susie Dennis and husband Bobby of Defeated Creek, Travis Hale of Defeated Creek, Jacob Hale of Defeated Creek, John Brown Jr and wife Tiffany of South Carthage, Angela Jones and husband Doug of Lebanon; 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hale is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon November 7 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Frank Bratcher will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Travis Hale, Jacob Hale, John Brown Jr, Josh Dennis, Allen White, Colby Jones.
Visitation will begin on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
