Mrs. Garlene Eastes Burton, age 62 of Grant, died Wednesday at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She is survived by: husband, Tim Burton; daughters, Lindsey Gull and husband Keith of Grant, Holly Burton and fiance’ Nate Busard of Grant; parents, Garland and Earlene Eastes of Grant; sister, Nellene Eastes of Grant; 3 brothers, Gary Eastes and wife Sarah of Hendersonville, Donnie Eastes and wife Bobbie of Sullivans Bend, Ricky Eastes of Carthage; 5 grandchildren, Braven Gull, Gavin Gull, Jayden Burton, Memphis Busard, Jeremy Hart.
Mrs. Burton is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, June 13 at 1:00 PM. Eld. Stephen Brooks will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Tommy Turner, Chad Pole, Clay Cothron, Jos Winfree, Gabe Silvey, Evan Davenport.
Visitation will begin on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Grandchildrens College Fund.
