Mrs. Faye Williams, age 72, of Brush Creek and formerly of Defeated Creek, died Thursday morning, June 9 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. She is survived by: children, Shelia Ferrell and husband Chris of Brush Creek, Karla Wood and husband Russell of Gordonsville, Jill Huddleston and husband Chris of Elmwood, Cory Williams of Murfreesboro; sisters, Betty Flowers and husband Gayle of Underwood, Indiana, Jane Manning and husband Kenneth of Bluff Creek, Debra White and husband Gary of Chestnut Mound; brothers, Larry Grisham of St. Marys, Roger Grisham and wife Yvonne of Gordonsville, Danny Grisham and wife Patricia of Elmwood, Ricky Grisham and wife Jeannie Faye of Elmwood, Tony Grisham and wife Thomasene of Elmwood; 8 grandchildren, Magen Yancy and husband Tony, Holden Wood, Morgan Wood, Emma Wood, Lucas Ferrell, Logen Ferrell, Cole Huddleston, Camden Huddleston; 3 great-grandchildren, Sydney and Jack Yancy and Charley Yancy; sister-in-law, Barbara Grisham of Elmwood.
Mrs. Williams is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, June 12 at 3:00 PM. Eld. Floyd Ferguson and Eld. Kevin Graham will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Chris White, Joe Skelton, Tim Williams, Steve Williams, Holder Wood, Lucas Ferrell, Cole Huddleston, Tony Yancy and Jack Yancy will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin Saturday afternoon at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM until service time at 3:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Cornwells Chapel Missionary Baptist Church or the National Kidney Foundation.
