Mrs. Failyn Thomas, age 76, of Elmwood died Sunday morning, January 1, at Riverview Regional in Carthage.  She is survived by: sons, Stan Thomas of Rome, Charles O. and Juanita Thomas of Elmwood; 5 grandchildren, Sarena Thomas, Josh Thomas and wife Jessie, Shawn Thomas and wife Mariea, Patricia Thomas and Brittany Thomas; 2 great-grandchildren, Joshua Jonah Thomas and Athena Thomas.

Mrs. Thomas is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, January 4, at 1:00 PM.  Bro. Wallace Caldwell and Eld. Anthony Dixon will officiate.  Interment in the Ridgewood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
