Mrs. Evelyn “Tiny” Kemp
Mrs. Evelyn “Tiny” Kemp, age 80 of South Carthage and longtime resident of Defeated Creek, died Friday morning, April 1, at Riverview Regional in Carthage. She is survived by: son, Charles Kemp and wife Diane of Tanglewood; 2 grandchildren, Chris Kemp and wife Marsha of South Carthage, Michelle Gentry and husband Davy of Tanglewood; 4 great-grandchildren, Olyvia Kemp, Madelyn Kemp, Dawson Gentry and Elizabeth Gentry.
Mrs. Kemp is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens on Sunday afternoon, April 3 at 4:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment. Bro. Jackie Dillehay will officiate. Phillip Hufffines, Hughie Gregory, Terry Mundy, Davy Gentry, Lance Anderson and Gary Mahaney will serve as pallbearers.
The family has requested memorials to the Jordan Hackett Foundation.
