Mrs. Eva Lee Blackburn
Mrs. Eva Lee Blackburn, age 92, of Hickman, TN, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016.
Mrs. Blackburn was born March 24, 1924, in Smith County, TN. She was the daughter of the late, Oval Barry & Cora Lee Malone Hindsley. Mrs. Eva & Robert Earl were married on July 23, 1939 & he preceded her in death on February 22, 1996. Mrs. Eva Lee & her Robert Earl pastored Rawles Creek Church for 25 years. Mrs. Blackburn loved family, flowers & cooking Sunday dinner.
Mrs. Blackburn is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Betty Ann Dillard & Bernie Staffon of Hickman, TN. 2 grandchildren, Bob & wife Sandra Dillard of Hickman, TN & Bro. Doug & wife Angel Dillard of New Middleton, TN. 5 great grandchildren, Sarah & husband Hunter Collins, Britt Dillard & Lillie Dillard, Morgan & husband Brady Hearn & Hallie Dillard.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Blackburn are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10AM with Bro. Doug Dillard & Sarah Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Baird Memorial Cemetery in Hickman, TN.
Visitation with the Blackburn family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM and again on Saturday after 9 AM until the time of the service at 10 AM.
Memorial donations can be made to Lighthouse Church Paving Fund in memory of Mrs. Blackburn.
