Mrs. Elizabeth Silcox Brown

Mrs. Elizabeth Silcox Brown, age 89 of Tanglewood, died Sunday morning, October 4 at her home. She is survived by: children, Roy Brown of Tanglewood, David Brown of York, South Carolina, Sherry Davis and husband Jim of Popes Hill, Debbie Gividen of Tanglewood; son-in-law, Wyvin Locklear of Lumberton, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Wanda Brown of Rawls Creek; sister, Maude Comstock of Defeated Creek; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, October 7 at 1:00 PM. Bro. David Thaxton will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Wyvin Locklear Jr, Chad Locklear, Jeremy Davis, James W. Davis, Brady Thurman, Eli Gividen.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
