Mrs. Dorothy Davis, age 73 of South Carthage, died Friday evening, January 8 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. She is survived by: husband Jerry Davis; children, Lorrie McDonald and husband David of South Carthage, Andrew Davis of South Carthage; mother, Ritchie Lynch of Lebanon; 6 grandchildren, Cory McDonald and wife Megan of Gordonsville, Collin McDonald and wife Katie of South Carthage, Connor McDonald and wife Kaylee of South Carthage, Delanie McDonald of Murfreesboro, Brianna Davis of Cookeville, Kalyn Davis of Cookeville; great-grandchildren, Ellie Beth, Annsley, Ivy and Amelia Grace; brothers, Jimmy Lynch and wife Judy of Lebanon, Ronnie Lynch and wife Judith of Carthage, Johnnie Lynch of Lebanon, Steve Lynch and wife Barbara of Lebanon.
Mrs. Davis is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Monday afternoon, January 11 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Collin McDonald will officiate. Connor McDonald will present the eulogy. Interment in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Carthage. Serving as pallbearers are: Andrew Davis, Steve Lynch, Dr. David McDonald, Cory McDonald, Collin McDonald, Connor McDonald.
Visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Cornerstone Mission Fund.
Because of the increase of Covid 19 in Smith County., the kitchen will be closed.
