Mrs. Donna Hays, age 64, of Pea Ridge, died Saturday evening at Riverview Regional in Carthage. She is survived by: husband, Charlie Hays; 4 step-sons, Mark Schoolfield and wife Christy of Defeated Creek, Chuck Hays and wife Jinna of Smithville, Dan Hays of Murfreesboro, Ryan Hays and wife Brandi of Brush Creek; 7 grandchildren, Jacqueline Slagle of Lebanon, Avery Anne Schoolfield, Heather Hays, Patric Hays, Alexis Hays, J. B. Hays, Charlie Hays; great-granddaughter, Sarriyah Slagle.
Mrs. Hays is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 24, at 3:00 PM. Edward L. Anderson will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Chuck Hays, Ryan Hays, Dan Hays, Mark Schoolfield, Scott Cook and David Henry will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin on Monday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday from noon until service time at 3:00 PM.
