
Mrs. Betty Nesbitt Gullett, age 83 of the Lancaster Community, died Monday morning, January 1 at St. Thomas Mid-Town in Nashville. She is survived by: daughter, Penny Nay and husband Jim of Lebanon; son, Tim Nesbitt and wife Cheryl of Cookeville; sisters, Earlene Pedigo of Lafayette, Molene McCarter and husband Darriel of Hermitage Springs; 8 grandchildren, Colt Taylor, Kelley Jean Taylor and Justina Taylor all of Lancaster, Andrew Nay and wife Mary Ellen, Brandon Nay and wife Chelsi all of Madison, Alabama; Autumn McDaniel and husband Dusty, Emily Nesbitt, Abigail Nesbitt all of Cookeville; 6 great-grandchildren, Angel Taylor, Justin Brown, Trinity Taylor, James Nay, Alyssa Nay, Sirena Nay.
Mrs. Gullett is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Saturday morning, January 6 at 11:00 AM. Eld. Michael Nesbitt will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Colt Taylor, Autumn McDaniel, Andrew Nay, Brandon Nay, Justina Taylor, Emily Nesbitt, Abigail Nesbitt; honorary pallbearers, Kelley Taylor, Chance Maxwell, Stephanie Maxwell, Shane Brown.
Visitation will begin on Friday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
