Mrs. Betty Murray, age 95 of Dixon Springs, died Sunday morning, October 5 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. She is survived by: 2 daughters, Brenda F. Murray of Dixon Springs and Linda K. Brown of Lafayette; 3 sons, Walter Murray of Dixon Springs, Robert Murray and wife Beverly of Hartsville, Terry Murray and wife Diane of Rome; sister, Julia Ann Driver of Lafayette, 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Murray is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Monday afternoon, October 13 at 3:00 PM. Pastor Chad Woodard will officiate. Interment in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Steve Morgan, Tommy Allen, Alvie Anderson, Troy Rogers, Kenny Greer, Aaron Jenkins, Danny Turnbull, Lee Jacobs.
Visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon, October 12 at 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at 3:00 PM. The family has requested memorials to Saving Grace Ministries.
