Mrs. Betty Gibbs Mason age 77, of Hickman, TN, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN.
Mrs. Betty was born December 23, 1937 in Hickman, TN, the Daughter of the late Herman Gibbs and Emma Ruth McKinney. She was also preceded in death by Seven Brothers and Three Sisters. Betty married John D. Mason. She was a 1956 graduate of GHS, and attended the Double Springs Community Church.
Mrs. Betty is survived by Husband; John D. “Buster” Mason of Hickman, TN. Five Children; Randall D. (Pam) Mason of Gordonsville, TN, Steve (Teresa) Mason of Hickman, TN, Rebecca D. Mason of Carthage, TN, Timothy D. Mason of Hickman, TN, and Kenny Dean Mason of Hickman, TN. Seven Grandchildren; Amanda Shanks, Amber (Randy) Crook, Ashley (Andrew) Bunn, Jordan Mason, Jerred Mason, Malerie Mason, and Jon (Chasity) Mason. Thirteen Great-Grandchildren and One Sister; Jean (Lloyd) Petty of Brush Creek, TN.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mason are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11AM with Bro. Frank Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation with the Mason family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday, October 19, from 2PM until 8PM and again on Tuesday, October 20, from 9AM until the time of the service at 11AM.
