Mrs. Bernice Head Roberts, age 87, of the Rome community, died Sunday morning, July 3, at her home. She is survived by: 5 children, Deborah Maberry of Nashville, W. Gray Roberts Jr and wife Deborah Lynn of Rome, Diane Foresee of Rome, Tamarah Pryor and husband Charles of Defeated Creek, Kimberly Harmon and husband Randy of Birmingham; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Roberts is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday morning, July 6 at 11:00 AM. Kenneth Head and Jim Key will officiate. Interment in the Turkey Town Cemetery in Celina. W. Gray Roberts Jr, Ritchie Roberts, Lucas Roberts, Charles Pryor, Anthony Pryor and Fred Chastain will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
