Mrs. Barbara Roark
Mrs. Barbara Roark, age 66, of Lock Seven, died Monday afternoon, March 13, at St. Thomas West in Nashville. She is survived by: children, Stephanie Cox and husband Scott of Greenville, Chris Crowe and wife Melissa of Havelock, NC, Brandi Lambert and husband Ray of Gainesboro, Hugh (Pete) Roark of Smyrna; sisters, Nelda Deckard and husband Jr. of Tomkinsville, Mary Deckard and husband Terry of Tomkinsville; brother, Jimmy Curtis of Kempville; brother-in-law, Roger Dale Roark and wife Margie of Red Boiling Springs; sister-in-law, Rebecca Roark of Red Boiling Springs; 10 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Roark is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Thursday morning, March 16, at 11:00 AM. Eld. Floyd Ferguson will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as active pallbearers are: Mark Winningham, Garrett Crowe, Jeff Roark, Jonathan Roark, Kelly Jones, Christian Crowe and Nathan Crowe.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
The family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society.
