Mr. Wendel Bennett, age 82, of Turkey Creek community, died Tuesday morning at Saint Thomas West. He is survived by daughter; Retta Ellenburg and husband Richard of Kenny’s Bend, grandchildren; Jared Ellenburg and wife Tori of Kempville, Lauren Ellenburg of Riddleton, great grandchildren, Colton Ellenburg of Riddleton, River Jackson of Riddleton, sister Elizabeth Tramel of Lebanon, brother; Ernest Bennett.
Mr. Bennett is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, January 4, at 3:00 PM with Bro. Jackie Dawson and Eld. Steven Brooks officiating. Interment at Smith County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers; Larry Silcox, Jerry Silcox, David Silcox, Jeff Silcox, Gary Silcox, Dave Silcox.
The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel Thursday from 12:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM.
