Mr. Travis Shoemake, age 37, of Carthage, died Thursday morning, March 10, at his home. He is survived by: mother, Vickie Blair and husband Billy Wayne of Hickman; children, Katie Lollar and Chance Shoemake; sisters, Melanie Johnson of Turkey Creek, Nicole Harpe and husband Matthew of New Middleton; nephew, Austin Johnson; nieces, Olivia Harpe and Mackenna Harpe.
Mr. Shoemake is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, March 13, at 1:00 PM. Bro. Scott Nesbitt will officiate. Interment in the Gordonsville Cemetery. Matthew Harpe, Austin Johnson, Jonathan Shoemake, Alton Moss, Dale Hunt and Jody Johnson will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Smith County Humane Society.
