Mr. Tony Thaxton, age 60, of Carthage, died Thursday afternoon, January 14, at Riverview Regional in Carthage.  He is survived by: son, Chase Thaxton of Carthage; sister, Vivian Minton and husband Al of Hogans Creek;   brother, David Thaxton and wife Melody of South Carthage.Mr. Thaxton  is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home.  He will be cremated at Cumberland Family Services.  A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Carthage Chapel on Sunday afternoon, January 17 at 3:00 PM.  Bro. Tracy Symoens will officiate. Interment at a later date at Ridgewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday afternoon only from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM.
