Mr. Thomas Stewart, age 94 of the Elmwood Community, died Wednesday morning, June 11 at his home. He is survived by 4 children, Andrea Waggoner Evans and husband Byron of Elmwood, Dennis Stewart of Nashville, Debra Smith of Elmwood, Doreen Stewart of Lancaster; brother, Dr. James Stewart and wife Dr.Aridell Stewart of Hermitage;4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
Mr. Stewart is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Friday afternoon, June 20 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Jerry Payne and Rev. Wilkie Winfree will officiate. Military Chapel Service by American Legion Post #57. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens in Carthage.
Visitation on Friday June 20 only from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
