Mr. Bush was born on February 12, 1939 in the Maggart Community of Smith County, a son of the late Johnnie Elves Bush and Vallie Evergreen Slager Bush. He was also preceded in death by a brother: Johnnie Wilson Bush and a brother-in-law: Jessie Dell Williams. Mr. Bush graduated from Smith County High School, he was a member of the Maggart United Methodist Church.
Mr. Bush retired from Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation. after working there for 40+ years.
Mr. Bush is survived by his two sisters: Mattie Catherine Bush of Chestnut Mound, TN and Reba Williams of the Stewarts Bend Community: Niece, Valette Williams.
Mr. Bush is at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday September 9, 2025 at 1PM with Bro Floyd Massey officiating. Interment will follow in the Dickens Cemetery in the Maggart Community of Smith County.
The Bush family will receive friends at the Gordonsville, TN Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday September 8, 2025 from 2PM until 8PM and on Tuesday September 9, 2025 from 11Am until service time at 1PM.
