Mr. Roger Dale Davis, age 62 of Buffalo Valley, TN passed away on January 9, 2024.
Mr. Davis was born July 13, 1961 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, a son of Earlene Duke Davis and the late Sam Davis, Jr. He was also preceded in death by Grandson; Scott Pitman of Gordonsville, TN. Mr. Davis married Shelia Thompson on January 13, 1979. He was a very hard worker, having retired from roofing after many years of work. He was of Baptist faith and had attended Rome Baptist Church in his early years.
Mr. Davis is survived by Wife of 45 years; Shelia Davis of Buffalo Valley, TN. Mother; Earlene Davis of Watertown, TN. Brothers; Sammy (Tina) Davis, Jerry Davis, and Ted Davis all of Watertown, TN. Children; Melissa Davis, Jimmy Davis, and April Davis all of Buffalo Valley, TN. Grandchildren; Thomas Jay Starnes, Jordan Boulton, Jacob Boulton, Adaline Davis, Mercedes Cornett, A.J. Cornett, Alice Davis, Jerrilynn Davis, and Jimmie Dawn Davis all of Buffalo Valley, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. Davis are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12PM with Bro. Tim Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday from 9AM until service time at 12PM.
The family requests memorials be made to assist with funeral expenses.
