Mr. Ray (Hoover) Bowman, age 60 of the Graveltown Community, died Sunday morning, March 27 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. He is survived by: sister, Becky Bowman Hackett and husband Phillip of Tanglewood, brother, Charlie Bowman and wife Melanie of Graveltown; nephews, Canaan Bowman and wife, Paige Litchford Bowman, Cayde Bowman and wife, Mariah Shivers Bowman; niece, Keely Hackett; 6 great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bowman is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Wednesday morning, March 30 at 11:00 AM. Eld. Scott Rigsby will officiate. Interment in the Pole Beasley Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Jimmy “Hoss” Gregory, Rander “Bouser” Shoulders, Canaan Bowman, Cayde Bowman, Phillip Hackett, A. J. Bryant.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
The family has requested memorials to the Pole Beasley Cemetery Mowing Fund.
