Mr. Owen Massey
Mr. Owen Massey, age 38 of Elmwood, died Sunday morning, November 10th, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center E.R..
He is survived by: daughters, Claire Elisabeth Massey and Millie Katherine Massey both of Gordonsville; parents, Cranston and Faye Massey of Elmwood; 2 brothers, Kevin Massey and wife Treva and their children, Michael Massey and wife Megan of Elmwood, Krystal Hughes and husband Devin of Carthage, Bro. Floyd Massey and wife Peggy of Elmwood and their children, Will Massey of Elmwood, Katelyn Croslin and husband Jared of Hickman, Julia Butler and husband J.D. of Elmwood; great nieces and nephews: Jacob, Noah, Stanley, Michele, Bailey, David and Creed; family friend, Dakota Comstock and husband Shawn and their children Clarissa, Sadie and Dewey.
Mr. Massey is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his services will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, November 13, at 1:00 PM. Bro. Floyd Massey and Bro. Jeff Burton will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are: Paul Massey, Phil Massey, Pat Massey, Chris Massey, Michael Massey, Jimmy Dunham, Jeff Massey.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Claire and Millie’s college fund.
