Mr. Nathan George, age 75 of Defeated Creek, died Tuesday morning, July 26 at his home. He is survived by: daughter, Mandi Myers and husband Steven of South Carthage; 4 sons, Elvie Ray George of Estill Springs, Vinson George of Manchester, Jamie George and wife Shirley of Defeated Creek, Ricky George and wife Michelle of Florida; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Mr. George is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Friday morning, July 29 at 11;00 AM. Bro. Richie Gibbs will officiate. Interment in the George Cemetery in Estill Fork, Alabama. Serving as pallbearers are: Richie Gibbs, Steven Myers, Jamie George, Phil Tomlinson, Sean Bamford, Matthew Myers, Jobie Wright, Cody Roberts.
Visitation at Sanderson Funeral Home will be on Friday only from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
