Mr. Mike Butler
Mr. Mike Butler, age 59, of Defeated Creek, died Saturday afternoon, March 24, at Tennova Health Care in Lebanon. He is survived by: wife of 40 years, Shelia Butler; daughter, Kim Butler of Defeated Creek; son, Andrew Butler of Defeated Creek; mother, Jessie Butler of Defeated Creek; sister, Brenda Givens and husband Charles of Buffalo; brothers, David Butler of Defeated Creek, Roger Butler and wife Melanie of Graveltown; 3 grandchildren, Mackenzie Evelane Wright, Jackson Wayne Wright, Hadley Cate Butler; mother-in-law, Bobbie Jean Sutton of Defeated Creek.
Mr. Butler is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, March 28, at 1:00 pm. Bro. Jackie Dillehay will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Kevin Butler, Kelly Joe Butler, Jesse Dale Butler, Joey Washer, Bill Elliot, Chris Dickerson.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
The family has requested memorials to assist with funeral expenses.
