Mr. Michael Ray Fariss, age 64 of Carthage, TN, passed away on November 13, 2023.
Mr. Fariss was born January 10, 1959 in McMinnville, TN, a son of the late William Benton Fariss and Joan McClain Fariss. He was also preceded in death by Brother; Ronnie Fariss. Mr. Fariss married Darlene Frances Davis on August 26, 1978. He served in the Tennessee National Guard for several years. Mr. Fariss worked as a produce clerk for Publix for several years. He enjoyed Alabama Football and the San Antonio Spurs.
Mr. Fariss is survived by Wife of 45 years; Darlene Davis Fariss. Children; Jennifer (Rusty) Burton of Hickman, TN and Chris (Jill) Fariss of Lebanon, TN. Grandchildren; Caitlyn (Cleve) Rankin, Sam Burton, Lycity Burton, Kenidy Fariss, and Emery Fariss. Brother; Benton Fariss.
Private Graveside Services and Interment for Mr. Fariss are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10AM at the Gordonsville Cemetery with Edward L. Anderson officiating.
Visitation with the family will be at the Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Wednesday from 2PM until 6PM.
The family will gather for private services at Gordonsville Cemetery just prior to the 10AM graveside.
