Mr. Leo Douglas Duncan, Sr
Mr. Leo Douglas Duncan, Sr, age 63, of the Sykes Community in Hickman, TN, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Mr. Duncan was born March 22, 1952 in Nashville, TN, the son of the Late; Thomas Duncan and Mable Fisher Whitefield. He married Janice Kay Duncan and she preceded him in death on May 9, 1999. He was also preceded in death by Two Brothers; Jessie Duncan and Donald Ray Duncan. Mr. Duncan worked at Welsh before working as a Zinc Miner for 28 years.
Mr. Duncan is survived by Son; Leo Douglas Duncan, Jr. Brothers; Claude (Deborah Joy) Duncan of Sykes, TN. Thomas Wilson (Carolyn Sue) Duncan of South Carthage, TN, and Jerry (Patricia) Duncan of Dixon Springs, TN. Sister-in-Law; Gertrude Duncan of Texas. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. Duncan are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 1PM with Eld. Charles Allen Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation with the Duncan family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Thursday from 3PM until 8PM and again on Friday from 10AM until the time of the service at 1PM.
