Mr. Kevin Bennett, age 40, of the Horseshoe Bend community, died Sunday evening, August 22, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage. He is survived by: wife, Jackie Bennett; parents, Larry and Anita Bennett of Horseshoe Bend; children, Dalton Bennett and Dixie Ramsey; brother, Chris Bennett and wife Kay of Horseshoe Bend.
Mr. Bennett is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, August 25, at 1:00 pm with Eld. B. J. Thomason and Eld. Thomas Allen Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at Smith County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: Kyle Owens, Josh Lucia, Eric West, Trey Alvis, Phillip Bryant, and Travis Grisham. Honorary pallbearers: Randall Huddleston, Lee Wilkerson, Bull Driver, Jeff Jenkins, Scott Farley, Brian Hensley, Joe Darren Boze, and Michael Hix.
The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel beginning on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm.
The family requests memorials to the Dalton Bennett College Fund or Green Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
