Mr. Johnny “Rusty” Thompson, age 73 of Flat Rock, died Thursday morning, January 21 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is survived by: children, Johnny Thompson Jr , Hank Thompson of Rome, Christina Bizzle and husband William of Rome, Sandra Kerr and husband David of Tuckers Cross Roads, Jonathon Goodnight of Carthage, Tiffany Goodnight of Indiana; daughter-in-law, Brenda Riddle of Lancaster; step-children, Jamie Huffines, Kristie Huffines, Karla Parker and husband Jeff of Elmwood; 14 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Thompson is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 25. Bro. Jamie Duke will officiate. Interment in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
Visitation on Monday only from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
