Mr. John Thomas Gibson, age 67, of Gordonsville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2023.
Mr. Gibson was born March 2, 1956 in Charlotte, North Carolina, a son of the late Fritz Dewey Gibson and Patricia Lund Gibson. He was also preceded in death by Brother; Mark Gibson. Mr. Gibson served his country in the United States Army from 1973 until 1976. He later worked as a hotel facilities manager and eventually retired from the National Park Service after several years. Mr. Gibson was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He married Barbara E. Buttron, and they have enjoyed over 15 years of marriage.
Mr. Gibson is survived by Wife; Barbara E. Roden of Gordonsville, TN. Son; John (Christina) Gibson. Stepdaughters; Colleen (Terry Staggs) Roden and Lynn (Shannon) Brown. Seven grandchildren. Brother; Michael Gibson.
The family will hold services at a later date.
