Mr. John Steven Kania

Mr. John Steven Kania, age 49, of Brush Creek, TN, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016.

Mr. Kania was born January 28, 1967 in Neptune, NJ, the son of the late Joseph Eugene Kania, Sr. and Lillian Deeter Uphold. He was also preceded by Brother; Joey Kania on August 13, 2005. He attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church. John worked as a truck driver for Keen Transportation.

Mr. Kania is survived by Parents; Joe and Donna Kania of Seymour, TN. Siblings; Harold Kania of Bedford, PA, Donna T. Kania of Bedford, PA, Dante Kania of Buffalo Valley, TN, Marie Drake of Little Rock, AR, Joyce Young (Michael) Turley of Sevierville, TN, and Justin Kania of Seymour, TN. Life-long friends; Frank and Betty Curley and Family and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral Services for Mr. Kania are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 2PM. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.

Visitation with the Kania family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday from 9AM until service time at 2PM.
