Mr. John Michael Robinson
Mr. John Michael Robinson, age 70, of Brush Creek, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at his home.
Mr. Robinson was born April 16, 1945 in Honesdale, PA, the Son of the late Edward John Robinson I, and Olive Marion Cline. He married Alyce Robinson on June 18, 1975 and she preceded him in death on April 18, 2009. John was also preceded by Grandson; Michael Brown. John and Alyce moved to Smith County from Pennsylvania in 1976. He was the founder of the Volunteer Pistol Club, and the Assistant Chief at the Sykes Fire Department. John worked as a foreman at JMZ for many years until becoming a professional gunsmith.
Mr. Robinson is survived by Children; John Richard (Loretta) Robinson of Brush Creek, TN, Marian L. Robinson of Brush Creek, TN, Pam Darnell of Hermitage, TN, Laura (Donald) Weishaupt of Manassas, VA, Ruth (Ken) Brown of Baxter, TN, Floyd J. (Joyce) Thompson of Rome, TN, Catie (Patrick) Cantrell of Brush Creek, TN. Grandchildren; Liz Brown, Leigha Brown, Dustin Monti, Jimmy Thompson, Casey Monti, Ashley Kromko, Amanda Morgan, Amber Givens, Eric Cantrell, Cole Cantrell, Seth Cantrell, Alex Cantrell, and Kish Cantrell. Great-Grandchildren; Xavier Barnes, Bradley Tucker, Aubrey Morgan, Khloa Giasson, Charlie Morgan. Brother; Edward John “Tim” Robinson II of Honesdale, PA, and Sister; Mary “Sash” Elizabeth (Jim) McGall of PA.
Funeral Services for Mr. Robinson are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 1PM with Glenn Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
Visitation with the Robinson family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday from 3PM until 7PM and again on Sunday from 11AM until the time of the service at 1PM.
