Mr. John King Lambert, age 89 of Buffalo Valley, died Saturday morning, July 4 at his home.  He is survived by: wife, Jane Lambert; 3 daughters, Debra Jean Lambert of Nashville, Donna Austin and husband Tom of Baxter, Doris Ann Cummings and husband George of Fleming Island, Florida; sister, Hilda Bailey of Chestnut Mound; 4 grandchildren, Thomas Austin and wife Hailee of Baxter, Kimberly Austin  of Baxter, Andrew Davis and wife Cheyenne of Fleming Island, Florida; Taylor Davis and wife Amy Jo of Clarksville; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 bonus children, Brandi Stout McRedmond and husband Graham of Nashville, Mark Stout and wife Pam of Cookeville, Natalie Stout Adcock and husband Clark of Smithville.

Mr. Lambert is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Wednesday morning, July 8 at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Bobby Ray will officiate. Military Chapel Service will be conducted by American Legion Post #57. Interment in the Dickens Cemetery in the Maggart Community.  Serving as pallbearers are: Jeff Highers, Mark Stout, Lewis Bryant, Thomas Austin, Taylor Davis, Steve Myers.

Visitation on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

The family has requested memorials to the Dickens Cemetery Mowing Fund.
