Mr. John Jones, age 57 of Carthage, died Thursday afternoon, June 25 at Alive hospice in Nashville.  He is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Jason Jones and wife Angela of Carthage.

Mr. Jones is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Monday, June 29 at 11:00 AM.  Eld. Rickey Hall will officiate.  Interment in the Tomlinson-Hazelwood Cemetery in Nashville.  Serving as pallbearers are: Jerry Tomlinson, David Tomlinson, Casey Tomlinson, Jeremy Tomlinson, McKinley Richardson, Steve Richardson; honorary pallbearers, Randy Tanner, Scott Stepp, Shannon Brinkley, Gary Wix, 1985 State Semi-Final team at Smith County High School.

Visitation on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

The family has requested memorials to the American Heart Association.
