Mr. Joe A. Grisham, age 84, of Rawls Creek, died Wednesday afternoon, September 23, at Sumner Regional in Gallatin. He is survived by: wife, Linda Lackey Grisham; 3 children, Phyllis Grisham McCall and husband John D. of Tanglewood, Ruby Boley and husband Brian of Rawls Creek, Matt Grisham and fiance Katie Ruis of Rock City; 2 sisters, Ruth Givens of South Carthage, Elizabeth Thomas and husband Billy of Turkey Creek; brother, Bro. Glen Grisham and wife Violet of Lebanon; 8 grandchildren, Shawna Dixon Zody and husband Michael, Breanne Dixon Kintz and husband Stephen, Angel Johnson, Ashley Farley and husband William, Hayden Grisham, Jaxson Grisham, Kaiser Grisham, Avery Grisham; 8 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Grisham is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, September 26 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Kevin Page will officiate. Ken Spann will present the eulogy. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Ken Spann, Keith Bennett, Jeremy Parker, Jimmy Glasscock, Danny Brown, Verlin Bennett.
Visitation begins on Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00
