Jimmie Shores Sr, age 86 of Lebanon TN, passed away on April 18, 2026. Jimmie Dean Shores Sr. was born in Carthage TN to Julia Francis Gregory Shores and Thomas Calvin Shores. He joined the United States Navy right out of high school and served from 1957 – 1961, then got married and started a family. Jimmie’s artistic talent became his livelihood with his job as a commercial artist in advertising. His other hobbies were fishing and playing chess. He also loved going to the beach and spending time in the Great Smokey Mountains.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Alice Shores, great-grandson Sebastian Crittendon, great-granddaughter Emilliana Bass, and parents Julia Gregory Shores and Thomas Calvin Shores. He is survived by sons Jimmie Dean Shores Jr and Calvin (April) Shores, daughters Deana (Charles Jr.) Brown, Marie Naegele, Pam (Rick) Kahre, and Dawn Shores, grandchildren Sarah Shores, Alicia (Nicholas Crittendon) Heady, Billy Dean (Jessica Boatman) Heady, Carson Brown, Emily Brown, Cloe (Sam Booth) Brown, Danielle (Mehran) Janbakhsh, Kameryn, Ayden, and Brendan Shores, and great-grandchildren Chase Crittendon, Rylee Crittendon, Tajjiana Bass, Kiana, Jayden, Khloe, and Kaia Janbakhsh.
