Mr. Jim Porter, age 78, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Knollwood Manor. He is survived by wife; Donna Porter, two daughters; Phyllis Mantlo and husband Tim of Hendersonville, Kim Hamilton and husband Jonathan of Aurora, Colorado, sister; Carolyn Armistead of Lebanon, brother; Kendall Porter and wife, Melinda of Lebanon.
Mr. Porter is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. His service will be conducted on Friday morning, July 19, at 11:00 AM with Eld. Scott Rigsby and Edward Anderson Officiating at Pleasant Shade Upper Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Pleasant Shade Cemetery.Â
The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel beginning on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Friday at Pleasant Shade Upper Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 10:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM.
The family requests memorials to Pleasant Shade Cemetery Mowing Fund and Alzheimer’s Association.
