Mr. Jessie Lee White
Mr. Jessie Lee White, age 68 of Dixon Springs, died Tuesday morning, July 4, at Sumner Regional in Gallatin. He is survived by: wife of 34 years, Betty Shoemake White; 2 daughters, Tammy Swindle of Westmoreland, Susan Case and husband Rodney of Royalston, Mass; 3 sisters, Eva Wilson of Bethpage, Robbie Humes and husband James of Hartsville, Esther Crook and husband Woody of Hartsville; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Swindle and Ashley Swindle of Westmoreland, Cody Smith of Dixon Springs, Shelby Smith of South Carthage, Hannah Case of Royalston, Mass; 1 great-grandchild, Bradley Smith.
Mr. White is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Friday afternoon, July 7, at 1:00 PM. Eld. Stephen Brooks and Eld. Rickey Hall will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as active pallbearers are: Travis Kemp, Brian Kemp, Chris Shoemake, Justin Shoemake, Michael White and Robert “Bud” Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are the Ralph Sloan’s Tennessee Travelers.
Visitation will begin on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Hogans Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
