Mr. James Wendell Williams, age 83, of Sykes Community, died Sunday afternoon August 4, at is home. He is survived by wife; Edith Williams, daughters; Cathy Gammons of Sykes, Brenda Jones and husband Paul of Red Boiling Springs, step children; Shelia Darrow and husband Ronnie of Knoxville, Elizabeth Hall and husband Jody of Manchester, grandchildren; Amanda Sircy, Jamie Sircy and wife Anna, Jonathan Jones, Katlyn Jones, great grandchildren; Catie Belle Sircy, Silas Sircy, Sheadyn Sircy, Abigail Sircy, Carmen Jo Sircy.
Mr. Williams is at he Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, August 8, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Dennis Croslin and Eld. Chris White officiating. Jamie Sircy will do the closing prayer. Pallbearers; Randy Glover, Thad Underwood, Clete Underwood, Mackey Fields, Jerry Agee, Chris White.
The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel beginning on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
