Mr. James Howard “Jimmy” Maynard, age 87, of Lebanon, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at his home.
Mr. Maynard was born April 22, 1928 in Dekalb County, TN, the Son of the late; John Howard Maynard and Velma Judkins. He was also preceded in death by One Sister; Starr Bates. Mr. Maynard married Frances Williams on August 5, 1955. He retired from Roadway Express in 1989 and spent his retirement years doing the Bible teaching work of Jehovah’s Witness.
Mr. Maynard is survived by his Wife of 60 years; Frances Williams Maynard of Lebanon, TN. Son and Daughter-in-law; Kenny and Pam Maynard of Cookeville, TN. Daughter and Son-in-Law; Charlene and Tom Derrickson of Lebanon, TN. Two Grandchildren; Logan (Kaila) Maynard and Lilly Beth Derrickson. Two Sisters; Lucille Smith and Marie Bennett.
Graveside Services and Interment for Mr. Maynard are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Cemetery on Thursday, November 17, 2015 at 2PM with Bro. Harold Ragland officiating.
Visitation with the Maynard family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Thursday from 10AM until departure for the cemetery at 1:50PM.
Memorial Services for Mr. Maynard are scheduled to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness at 3291 Old Murfreesboro Pike, Lebanon, TN, 37087 on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 3PM with Bro. Dennis Bowman officiating. The Family will receive friends from 2PM until service time at 3PM.
