Jack “Daddy Jack” Shoulders
Mr. Jack “Daddy Jack” Shoulders, age 81 of Carthage died Saturday afternoon, October 22 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. He is survived by: wife, Shirley Shoulders; sons, Ricky Shoulders and wife Dianna of Carthage, Mike Shoulders and wife Jane of Carthage; grandchildren, Holly Anderson and husband Lance of Tanglewood, Jacky Shoulders and wife Vasi of Skokie, IL, Erica Goad and husband Jared of Murfreesboro; 2 great-grandchildren, Hannah Anderson and Bella Anderson.
Mr. Shoulders is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, October 25 at 1:00 PM. Eld. Shawn Shepherd and Eld. Ricky Brooks will officiate. Interment in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers are: Jacky Shoulders, Lance Anderson, Jared Goad, Jimmy Tisdale, Bill Cothern, Ken Dillehay, Dale Bryant, Steve Shepherd. Honorary pallbearers are: Garvice and Sharon Gregory, Bill and Jean Brown, Eddie Gene and Dean Gregory, Sina Ann Lancaster, Betty Smith.
Visitation will begin Monday afternoon at 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Maces Hill Missionary Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
