Hubert Kenneth Gwaltney, age 72 of Scottsboro, AL, formerly of Gordonsville, TN and Lebanon, TN, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine Duke, Nina Perez, and JoAnn Hammonds; mother, Era (Ashley) Gwaltney and Hubert Gwaltney.
Kenneth was a 1961 graduate of Gordonsville High School.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Bassham Gwaltney; daughter, Kendra Gwaltney Johnson; son-in-law, Darryl Johnson; grandchildren, Olivia, Lydia, and Creighton Johnson; brother, Bobby (Marie) Gwaltney; and many loved nephews, nieces, and their children.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes with Bishop Richard Blackburn officiating. The family will receive friends from 5PM until 7PM on Monday.
