Mr. Harold Thomas Manning, Sr., age 73, of Gordonsville, TN, gave his life back on May 7, 2016.
He is a member of the Dicktown United Methodist Church, where he joined in early life. He is preceded in death by his parents; Matt and Mabel Bell Manning, along with three Brothers; Troy Manning, Billy Manning, and L.D. Bell. He worked for Bonnell as a painter and a foreman from March 3, 1969 until his retirement on March 31, 2002.
In his passing he leaves five children to mourn his going home; Regina Manning (Wayne) Woodmore of Riddleton, TN, Ina Wise of Gordonsville, TN, Patricia Manning (Charles Savage) of Flatrock, TN, Jennifer Manning of Lebanon, TN, and Harold Thomas (Bugg) Manning, Jr. of Madison, TN. Grandchildren; Thomas Wright, Issac Grisham, Nick Payne, Nelson Harper, Shade Manning, Justin Smith, Jasmin Brooks, Tonie Manning, Cody Woodmore, Taylor Garrett, Tori Garrett, and Terri Garrett. Great-Grandchildren; Bryson Grisham, Karmara Smith, Meliki Harper, Lanny Mae Harper, Zayden Payne, Oakley Wright, and Kyah Woodmore. Five devoted nieces and one very devoted nephew. One Uncle; Curtis Manning. Very devoted ex-wife and friend; Vera Manning, and very devoted Brother-in-Law; Roy Mason.
Funeral Services for Mr. Manning are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1PM with Rev. Earl Dirkson officiating. Interment will follow in the Dowell Cemetery in Alexandria, TN.
Visitation with the Manning family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Sunday from 4PM until 8PM and again on Monday after 12 Noon until the time of the service at 1PM.
