Mr. Gordy Woodard, age 67 of Carthage died Tuesday, September 26, at his home. He is survived by children Melissa Baker of Murfreesboro, Stacy Woodard and wife Brittany of Knoxville. Mother Mildred Woodard, Sisters Nancy Woodard of Carthage, Margaret West and husband Paul of Tanglewood, Brenda Thomas and husband Lanny of Union Camp, Sherry Goolsby and husband Jim of Tanglewood. Grandchildren Addison Baker, Ace Landon Woodard, Lennox Gray Woodard.
Pallbearers are Jason Harville, Bryant Goolsby, Josh West, and Michael Woodard.
Mr. Woodard is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Friday afternoon September 29 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Lanny Thomas will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin Thursday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday morning 10:00 AM until service at 1:00 PM.
The family requests memorials to the Jordan Hackett Foundation.
