Mr. Gordons Jenkins, age 70, of the Rome community, passed away Monday morning, March 25, at his home. He is survived by wife, Barbara Jenkins; daughter Amy Hunt and husband Trey of Gordonsville; sister, June Bohanon of Red Boiling Sprigs; grandchildren Ariel Coker, Ren Coker; great grand son ,Zayden Rowlett.
Mr. Jenkins is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Thursday morning, March 28, at 11:00 AM with Edward L. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Trey Hunt, Ren Coker, Dale Woodard, Ricky Woodard, Brian Martin, Donnie Key.
The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel beginning on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM.
The family requests memorials to the Zayden Rowlett scholarship fund.
