Mr. Garvice “Nick” Gregory, age 82 of Pleasant Shade, died Friday afternoon, December 31 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He is survived by: wife, Sharon Beasley Gregory; son, Richey Gregory and wife Susan of Pleasant Shade; 2 granddaughters, Wendy Gregory McCarter and husband Corey of Pleasant Shade, Lydia Gregory of Pleasant Shade; 2 great-grandchildren, Catie Belle McCarter and Tristan McCarter.
Mr. Gregory is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, January 8 at 1:00 PM. Eld. Kenny Hensley will officiate. Interment in the Pleasant Shade Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers are: Benton Ray Beasley, Todd Dickerson, Kevin Dickerson, Mackie Fields, Connie “Peanut” Wilburn, Randy Mundy, Mack Gann, Scotty Wilmore; honorary pallbearers, Jimmy Watson, Donald Burk, Ronald Smith, Dan Birdwell, Billy Ward, Teamsters Local #480, Fred Grisham, Stacey Wilmore, Bobby Thomas, Billy Gammons.
Visitation will begin on Friday morning at 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
