Mr. Ernest Mahaney, age 85 of South Carthage, died Friday morning, August 9 at Quality Health Care in Lebanon. He is survived by: 2 daughters, Deborah Huddleston and husband James of Gordonsville, Connie Hamlett and husband Todd of South Carthage; 3 grandchildren; Stacy Woodard and wife Brittany of Knoxville, Melissa Baker and fiance’ Jaysun Rymer of Murfreesboro, Shawn Comstock and wife Tracy of Carthage; 6 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Mahaney is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, August 11 at 3:00 PM. Bro. Ray Gilder will officiate. David Haynes will present the eulogy. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens in Carthage. Serving as pallbearers are: Don Mahaney, Stacy Woodard, Shawn Comstock, Nick Huddleston, Michael Huddleston, Jaysun Rymer.
Visitation begins on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 noon until service time at 3:00 PM.
