Mr. Edward H. Vaden, age 90, of North Commerce Rd, Lebanon, TN passed away on Saturday October 11, 2025 at his home.
Mr. Vaden was born July 11, 1935 in Brush Creek, TN a son of the late Champion Edward Vaden and Daisy Ann Grisham Vaden Kent. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather Walter Kent and sister Birdie Kent. He was married to Ruby Doris Davis on February 11, 1958. He served in the U S Army from March 12, 1958 thru March 4, 1960, serving in Germany. He worked at H.G. Hills and worked and retired from Dupont. After retirement he worked for Servimation and was a farmer. He was saved later in life and attended Baptist Church.
Mr. Vaden is survived by his wife of 67 years Ruby Doris Vaden of North Commerce Rd, Lebanon, TN; children, Sheila (Pal) Neal of Tuckers Cross Roads, TN and Chris (Sandra) Vaden of Auburntown, TN; grandchildren: Houston (Brooke) Neal, Hannah (Kyle) Markum, Haden (Aaron) Johnson, Jessica (Justin) Carver, C. J. (Kristen) Vaden and Abbie (Wyatt) Close; eleven great-grandchildren; half-sister, Lucille Napier of Brush Creek, TN; brother in law, Bobby (Lurlie) Davis, special nephew Ronnie Kent, caregiver Leslie Williams.
Mr. Vaden is at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday October 14, 2025 at 1 PM. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Mr. Vaden’s family will receive friends on Monday October 13, 2025 from
3 PM until 7 PM and on Tuesday October 14, 2025 from 12 Noon until service time at 1 PM.
