Mr. Doug Lawson, age 78 of Club Springs, died Monday morning, October 27 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He is survived by: children, Kathryn Marshall West and husband Kyle of Club Springs, Michael Brian Lawson and wife Ranee of Grass Valley, California; grandchildren, Cody Lawson and wife Sydney, Colby Lawson, Bailey Lawson, Will George, Everett West; great-grandchild, Avery Lawson; sister, Carolyn Floyd of Huntsville, Alabama.
Mr. Lawson is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his visitation will begin on Thursday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM. A Private Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday by Bro. Donnie Payne. Serving as pallbearers are: Jerry Solomine, Terry Fields, Nathan Herron, Josh Cone, Will George, Brian Lawson, Kyle West, Everett West.
The family has requested memorials to the Forks River Fire Department.
